Attorney Ben Coudret currently focuses the bulk of his legal practice on civil litigation. In his practice, Mr. Coudret represents victims of employment discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination, among other employment-related problems. Mr. Coudret’s other primary area of focus is § 1983 civil rights cases, where he advocates on behalf of individuals who have had their constitutional rights violated. Ben also represents individuals faced with serious personal injuries.
Mr. Coudret spent his second and third years of law school clerking at Hollingshead & Dudley. During this time, he was able to work closely with the firm’s attorneys, giving him the experience he needed to be able hit the ground running when he became a licensed attorney.
A Closer Look
Ben was born and raised in Newburgh, a small town in southern Indiana. He played baseball and basketball in high school, and continued his baseball career at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, where he was named the university’s NCAA Male Student-Athlete of the Year in 2014. He graduated cum laude from Lindenwood with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management in May 2014. From there he attended law school at the St. Louis University School of Law, where he graduated in May 2017 with concentrations in employment law and criminal litigation.
In his spare time, Ben loves spending time with his fiancée Brooke and their three dogs, hanging out with family and friends, watching sports, and playing golf. Ben is an avid fan of Indiana Hoosiers basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, and of course the St. Louis Cardinals. Ben has also spent time coaching St. Louis area youth and high school-aged baseball teams, and enjoys staying as active as possible.
